Let There Be Peace On Earth
And Let It Begin With Me

The last screams I heard were yours and mine

As our plane of passengers gasped their goodbyes

To Washington and New York as passersby

Plunged into the deepest depths of unspeakable pain

Now burning vigil lights on streetcorners nearby

Clutching pictures sobbing into the night

Knowing we are gone they ask God why

Why this vile army of murderous woe

Allowed to walk into our sacred space

Allowed to make prosper sinister efface

Our loved ones are waiting for us to come home

Our pictures are stained with their saddest tears

I'm holding my sister and brother so close with my spirit

They are crying into the night uncontrollably afflicted

They can't feel my arms around them - their souls are barren

Only a disarrangement of sickness in their hearts

Tumult. Agony. Broken hearts and lives consumed and charred

That have been forever changed - wickedly humiliated -

By the derisive, disparaging, substance - malignant -

A tangible evil that has mortified millions

As we sit here with angels, we are gone now to them

This bereavement will last for eternity inburned by darkness

They have taken from us what no one can give back

They have stripped us to the core

They have separated us with their rabid,

Psychopathic paradox which is a mockery

To heaven's very essence

Their Knives have pierced our hearts,

Butchered us

And with deliberate, cunning, hateful plotting skill

Cut out our hearts and watched them bleed

Falling lifeless to the ground.

Let the floods come now

Flood of sorrow, flood of tears

Flood of brokenness without comfort

Flood of faces on papers that run together like a river

Flood of crimson that flows out of the eyes

Hands and feet of all that is love.

As incense to God, may He have mercy on all of us.

Dedicated to the victims in the plane

crashes on September 11, 2001 and

all their families and friends that

suffer the loss of them.

Love,

Janet Windglow, Stargazer
